OHHHH. Lots has been happening in the Richard household! The twins are great! I have been making jewelry from Salisbury Beach Sea Glass since making a few Christmas presents and it's been a hit. So, my good friend and fellow blogger (FuNky MoMmy) introduced me to etsy.com. I have had a few sales, but most of all, I love the community of artists creating for themselves and for others. Crafthope is a few Etsy mamas who created a shop to benefit Doctor Without Borders and their relief efforts in Haiti. 100% of the proceeds go to them! Happy Belated Valentine's Day

Nana bought us our Valentine's Day attire. We went to visit Memere. Aunty Gail was there and Aunty Joyce and Uncle John came to visit, too! There are some better pictures of us in Aunty Joyce's camera. Hopefully she will post them to Kodak soon. Mom tried to get some good pic's of us that morning but Taylor wasn't cooperating...she (mom) was cutting into naptime!

Napping in cribs!

Finally the girls are napping in their cribs unswaddled! They always went to bed for the night in their cribs, but they always napped in their swings. The other morning I found Taylor swaddled and on her belly! Yikes. I knew there was only one choice...cold turkey. Since we had to go cold turkey with the swaddle, we decided why not go cold turkey with the swings, too. So we are trying to kill two birds with one stone. I put the girls down in their cribs at 10am and it is 11am and still no peep! Last night was a different story. Abby kept waking herself up because she would roll onto her belly and couldn't roll back. UGH! Taylor on the other hand slept great last night. I think she likes her new sleep sack better than the swaddle!

Theresa, John, and Thomas came over today. They brought sushi! Thomas turned 8 months old yesterday! We sat him between the girls and he kept looking at one then turning to look at the other. He did not know what to make of them!

Nana and Grampy sent the girls new onsies. Nana also requested a pic of both girls smiling and sitting up. Not as easy as it looks! Haha. These are the best two!

First taste of real food...sort of

Taylor got her first taste of rice cereal the other day. We had their 4 month appointment on Monday with the Pedi. Taylor weighs 10lbs 6oz and Abby weighs 11lbs 12 oz. Even though Taylor is still smaller, she almost tripled her birth weight and the Pediatrician was happy with that. He gave the ok for solids, he even said we could try sweet potato, squash, and bananas. We'll start slow...Here is Taylor taking her first bite. No we didn't leave Abby out, we got her on video.
